BSO de Benjamin

BSO de Benjamin at Maxend 6 in Nistelrode is a welcoming after-school care centre where children aged 4 to 12 can play, relax and develop after the school day ends. We run five mixed-age groups – the Binkies, the Bengels, the Blitsers, the Blinkers and the Bubbels – so siblings can stay together and children of different ages learn from one another. Our pedagogical approach centres entirely on social skills. We believe that social behaviour must be taught and that children with strong social skills are happier. Therefore, 70 % of our play-material budget is spent on resources that invite cooperative play, and we take time as a group to acknowledge and care for one another. We always view the child in relation to the group, yet never lose sight of the individual. We collect children from local primary schools and provide care from the end of the school day until 18:00. During school holidays and study days we run holiday care from 08:00 to 18:00 at our KanZ site. Parents book extra days easily through our parent app Bitcare and receive all communication digitally. Our site has 44 regular places and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 2005. We are open 52 weeks a year, closing only on the official public holidays, and operate according to the Childcare CAO.
