Kinderopvang Buitenspelen

Welcome to Kinderopvang Buitenspelen – Location de Höfte at Operalaan 152 in Oldenzaal. We are a small-scale after-school care (BSO) that believes in the power of outdoor play and nature experience. Children aged 4 to 13 are given literal space to develop. Every day we go outside. Rain, sun, snow or wind – the weather never stops us. Children run, climb, scramble and play in the green. They discover how plants grow and bloom, meet animals and experience the seasons intensely. We use Oldenzaal’s beautiful playgrounds, such as the nearby city park and children’s farm De Höfte. Our activities are varied and stimulating. Children help in our vegetable garden, learn to make fire, do woodwork or build huts. We craft with natural materials, make pine-cone bird feeders and play outdoor bingo. Our pedagogical staff guide all this with lots of personal attention. We use the JIK method, giving every child room to be themselves and grow in their own way. We collect children with our cargo bike from various primary schools in Oldenzaal, including De Bongerd, De Linde, De Esch and Vrijeschool De Zevenster. We work closely with schools: we align our care with study days or special school activities, ensuring a smooth transition between school and free time. At Kinderopvang Buitenspelen we believe every child needs nature and outdoor play for balanced growth. We provide healthy, sometimes home-made snacks and create a safe, familiar environment where children can truly be children. Feel free to come and experience the atmosphere!
