BSO Boefje

Welcome to BSO Boefje at Visserspad 1a in Krommenie. We are part of the private childcare organization Kinderopvang Boefje, founded in 2009 by mother and daughter Marga van Veen and Angela Grooters. Our location provides after-school care for up to 37 children aged 4 to 12 years. During school weeks, we offer both before-school and after-school care. We pick up children from various primary schools in the area and safely return them after school. Our pedagogical staff welcome the children with warmth and a varied activity program. During holidays, our BSO transforms into a true adventure park. We organize thematic excursions and workshops that connect to the holiday theme. Think of visits to the climbing dunes, fairy tale wonderland, animal parks and museums. Additionally, we offer workshops in music, dance, yoga, cooking classes and creative activities. Every child can discover and develop their talents. Unique to our location is the opportunity to take swimming lessons from age 4.5. In collaboration with Stichting Zwembaden Zaanstad, we provide weekly swimming lessons at swimming pool de Crommenije, just a stone's throw away. Our staff accompany the children to the pool and remain present throughout the lesson to assist where needed. This way, children can playfully earn their swimming diplomas A, B and C through BSO Boefje. Our vision 'Learning through play together and raising together' forms the basis of everything we do. We believe children should be able to fully develop at their own pace. In our homely and small-scale setting, children quickly feel at home. We work with a fixed team of enthusiastic pedagogical staff who know and understand the children well. BSO Boefje at Visserspad is open 51 weeks per year from 7:00 to 18:30. We provide care during school weeks, holidays and study days. This way, parents never have to worry about their child's care, regardless of their working hours or school holidays.
