Zo aan de Buitenhof

Welcome to Zo aan de Buitenhof, our after-school care location at Van Rijslaan 8 in Delft. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a green, forested environment. Our location is situated next to Daltonschool Eglantier Buiten, with whom we closely collaborate. We pick up children using our BSO bus or by foot from school. Outdoor play is central to our approach. Every day we head outside, rain or shine. We use the adjacent forest for adventurous discovery trips and nature experiences. During holidays we make larger excursions, while during school weeks we often stay closer to the BSO. We work with two horizontal groups: the Sprinters and the Skaters. Our pedagogical staff actively involve children in planning activities. We ask them about their wishes and ideas, so they feel heard. Thematic activities are alternated with quiet moments after a long school day. Our enthusiastic team is committed every day with enjoyment as the main driving force. We find it important that children feel safe and seen with us. Together we create a nice place where children can be who they are.
