Welcome to BSO 2Ballonnen, located in the charming former monastery garden right in the centre of Monster. We are a registered after-school care facility operated by 2Samen and welcome up to 60 children aged 4 to 13. Thanks to our central location we work closely with De Blinkerd, De Willemschool and De Zeester. We collect the children after school and bring them to our spacious, green site where a world of possibilities awaits. Our three after-school groups are organised by age: one for the youngest, one for the middle group and one for the oldest children. This allows us to tailor activities and guidance perfectly to each child’s stage of development. Children decide for themselves what they want to do: drawing, reading, playing a game, building together or simply running around outside. Our nature garden – highlighted in the Union of Water Authorities campaign – offers a football and basketball pitch, a climbing frame and plenty of space to run and explore. Inside, the table-football table is always ready for friendly matches. Through 2Samen KICKS we organise (mid)days full of educational and sporting challenges such as survival and camp days, graffiti workshops, tree climbing and drama lessons. In between we serve a healthy snack with fresh fruit, vegetables, crackers or bread. Everything takes place in a homely atmosphere where our dedicated, professional team gives children the space to be themselves and to grow. We use the 2Samen Parent App to keep parents informed and are always happy to make time for a personal chat at pick-up and drop-off.
