BSO de Fontein

BSO De Fontein is part of Integral Child Centre De Fontein, located in the characteristic school building at Hoyledestraat 25 in Rotterdam-Noord. We provide after-school care for children from grades 1 to 8 of primary school De Fontein. Because our BSO literally takes place in and around the familiar school environment, children experience a seamless transition from school day to after-school time and parents immediately feel at home. Our pedagogical staff challenge children every afternoon to further develop their talents and discover new ones. We work from one shared vision with the school and align activities, methods and themes. A large part of our program takes place outside on the sustainable nature playground: sports and games, football, freerunning, bootcamp or just romping around. We also regularly organize workshops in dance, singing, drama and other creative outbursts. Does a child need some rest? Then books and music are ready in our cozy corners. Anything goes, nothing is mandatory – the most important thing is that children have a Great Time. During school holidays we join forces with BSO Prinses Juliana and BSO De Lis at our location. Under the name BSO Holiday Land we offer a varied program for six weeks around a central theme, including trips in the area. This keeps the group feeling big and boredom at bay. We consider parent involvement self-evident: parents receive a weekly overview of all activities and are more than welcome to join.
