Kinderdagverblijf Spetters

Welcome to the after-school care of Kinderdagverblijf Spetters, located at Lange Wagenstraat 9C in the heart of Gilze. We provide care for school-age children from 4 to 12 years old. Our BSO is part of the modern, private Kinderdagverblijf Spetters, which has been a trusted name in the municipality of Gilze en Rijen for over 14 years. For our BINKIES (ages 4-6) and BIKKELS (ages 7+), we operate from two locations. The BINKIES are picked up from primary school De Wildschut and stay at our central location on Lange Wagenstraat. The BIKKELS are based in a cozy, specially designed space within De Wildschut primary school itself, where they can use various indoor facilities like the handicrafts room and play hall, and run and play freely on the large school playground. Our qualified pedagogical staff personally pick up the children after school. We work with small groups and a consistent team, ensuring each child receives the personal attention they deserve. After a busy school day, there's plenty of room to relax, learn through play, and discover new things. We offer a variety of activities that connect with children's world of experience. Think of creative crafts in our art corner, cooking and baking in our kitchen, and active games in our challenging outdoor playground. This area features plenty of greenery, wooden climbing structures, and 'barefoot paths' where children can feel, explore, and romp around. Healthy nutrition is a top priority for us. We serve a daily responsible and varied snack with vegetables, fruit, and whole grain products. During lunch and other eating moments, we playfully make children aware of the importance of healthy eating and sufficient exercise. We are open all year round, including during school holidays and study days. For holiday care, you can use our flexible Holiday Care package. We keep parents informed through our Parent App, which allows you to receive photos, daily reports, and messages, and easily request extra days or report absences.
