Kinderopvang 't Oelenest

Kinderopvang ’t Oelenest is a small-scale after-school care (BSO) located at Schipborgerweg 7 in the village of Annen. We welcome up to 19 children aged 4 to 12. Our home sits quietly on the edge of the village, right next to the woods and open fields. We step outside every day: children explore, climb, cycle and play in our willow hut, vegetable garden or simply in the forest next door. Everything we do is built around a safe, homely atmosphere. After school, children decide for themselves whether they need to unwind on the sofa, chat at the kitchen table or join an activity. We craft, build, puzzle and dress up, and we also walk to the village hall or gym for sports and games. Our dedicated sports coach Matthijs runs weekly sessions that are tuned to the children’s interests. Our pedagogical team consists of familiar, experienced professionals who stay the same for both children and parents. Owner Cindy de Jonge works on the group herself. Together with Valesca, Wendy, Saskia and Rosan she creates a warm nest where every child feels seen and safe. We use themes to spark ideas, yet leave plenty of room for the children’s own initiatives. Flexibility matters: you only pay for the hours you book and you are not charged for weeks when we are closed. We are open 48 weeks a year, Monday to Friday.
