BSO Pomponella

BSO Pomponella is a small-scale after-school care centre in Julianadorp, located at Boterzwin 3435. We are part of the private childcare organisation Kinderdagverblijf Pomponella and provide care for up to 17 school-going children aged 4 to 12. Every weekday our qualified staff pick the children up from the nearby primary schools and bring them to our homelike premises. A varied activity programme awaits them, tailored to the children’s world of experience. We work thematically and seasonally: in autumn we craft with leaves, in winter we build huts in the garden, and in spring we explore the dunes. Creative expression, nature experience and sports games alternate. Language, cognitive, motor and social development are central in our pedagogical plan. Quiet corners are available for reading or homework, while there is also ample space for movement and outdoor play in our own garden. We regularly organise excursions to the beach, the forest or the petting zoo. Healthy nutrition matters to us: children receive fruit on arrival and a healthy lunch is served daily. We accommodate allergies and dietary requirements. In short, at BSO Pomponella children can play, relax and learn safely and challengingly in a familiar environment after school.
