Buitenschoolse opvang Tuimelaar (Kindercentrum)

Welcome to BSO Tuimelaar, part of Kindercentrum Tuimelaar located at Alexander Gogelweg 10 in Vlissingen. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. Our location is centrally situated in the Paauwenburg district, within walking distance of the forest, beach, boulevard, park and shopping centre. After school, children always experience something fun with us. They create beautiful projects with the sewing machine, saw in the craft corner and play various board games. We also enjoy the fresh outdoor air: a game of basketball, football in the cage or climbing in the play structure. We regularly go out for an activity afternoon at the community centre or take a walk to the park. Our BSO consists of two base groups using bright, cosily furnished rooms with play corners each having their own theme. The enclosed playground borders directly on the rooms and is equipped with various play equipment. We work with permanent pedagogical staff who know the children well and select daily activities that match the children's needs, interests and ages. Children from Theo Thijssenschool are picked up by our pedagogical staff and accompanied to the BSO. During holidays and study days we are closed; children are then cared for at location Zeehelden. We value good communication with parents and keep them informed through brief conversations at pick-up and photos in the parent portal.
