Kinderdagverblijf MamiNet has been located at Hoofdstraat 224 in the centre of Uithuizermeeden since 1 September 2018. Operating under V.O.F. Imma, we provide small-scale after-school care for up to 16 children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is a familiar and highly visible place in the village: passers-by on foot, bike or in cars happily wave and greet us every day. We follow a fixed daily rhythm that creates safety and calm. Children may be dropped off from 6.30 a.m.; those who wish can still have breakfast with us. Around 9.30 a.m. we serve a cracker with cheese or sausage and water or tea. At 11.45 a.m. it is time for sandwiches and at 2.00 p.m. we enjoy a healthy piece of fruit. From that moment on the schoolchildren arrive and the after-school part of the day begins. Our spacious, bright group room invites children to play, craft and enjoy each other’s company. They can choose to relax with a book, get creative, or be physically active. Comfortable spots by the windows let them watch village life unfold: tractors, cars and cyclists pass by in rapid succession. Because we never care for more than 16 children at once, there is always room for personal attention. We maintain the statutory staff-to-child ratio set by the GGD and work with a consistent team of professional, dedicated pedagogical staff.
