Het Toverstokje

At Het Toverstokje, located at Werkmansbeemd 23 in Oosterhout, we provide after-school care in a cosy, homely atmosphere. Our BSO is housed in a welcoming building that feels more like a family home than a school; children step straight into an environment that instantly feels familiar. The heart of our location is the large, adventurous garden with its own little farm. Here children can unwind after school, look after animals and explore how nature works. The spacious outdoor play area offers endless opportunities for play and exercise. Inside we have a beautiful kitchen where children can cook and bake together. Different inspiring corners – from arts & crafts to a reading nook – invite creative and quiet activities. Our unique children’s council lets pupils help decide the programme, giving them a sense of ownership and teaching them to cooperate. We regularly organise outings and activities such as movie nights, always focusing on the enjoyment and development of every child. Because we work with small groups (maximum 14 children) there is plenty of room for personal attention and tailor-made care. Our team is ready every weekday from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. to welcome children before and after school, as well as during holidays and study days. At Het Toverstokje children don’t just go to after-school care; they come home to a place where they can be themselves and create happy memories.
