VSO Het Eikenbos

Welcome to VSO Het Eikenbos, our after-school care located at Menneweg 73 in the heart of Sassenheim. We provide care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 and have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 246601000 since 3 December 2021. Our goal is for every child to feel at home: as soon as the BSO door opens, we want to evoke a feeling of joy and relaxation. At VSO Het Eikenbos we believe that movement is the foundation for healthy development. Because children sit still for long periods at school, we give them every opportunity to run, play and do sports at our location. We have a large football field where we organise daily sports and games activities such as tennis, badminton, football, archery and skipping rope. Being outdoors is healthy and good for resistance; children discover the world by experiencing it themselves and learn what they are good at and what they enjoy. The indoor space is spacious, warm and homely, with different corners: a construction corner, car corner, doll corner, craft corner and a relaxation corner. The toys are fully tailored to your child's age and support development. We see our BSO as an extension of the home situation; children are allowed to be completely themselves here. We are deliberately located away from the school so that children can really get away from the school environment and relax in a place where free time and fun are central. Our opening hours are generous: on school days from after school until 7:00 PM and during school holidays even from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Breakfast, lunch and a hot meal are included in the care options and are included in the price. We also offer extra services such as a children's hairdresser. Would you like to get to know us?
