Welcome to BSO Onder de Boompjes in Velp! We are located in the ‘De Verrekijker’ school building at Beukenlaan 6, alongside De Groene Wereld primary school. Our after-school care consists of two groups: the cheerful ‘Vrolijke Uiltjes’ for children aged 4 to about 7, and the adventurous ‘Slimme Vossen’ for children from about 7 years on. Each group has room for 20 children. We pick the children up with our eye-catching Boompjes cargo bikes, clearly marked with our logo and green vests. After school we offer a varied activity programme from which children can choose freely. One week we start with sports and games, the next we visit the petting farm or explore the forest. From April to September we focus on outdoor play; from October to March we shift the emphasis indoors. Our spacious outdoor area with climbing equipment and the discovery square are favourite spots for play and relaxation. Attention, calm, clarity and care are our guiding principles. We provide a familiar place where children can either unwind after a long school day or take part in structured activities such as crafts, board games or the Weekly mile. Every child is free to make their own choices, because we understand that relaxation is just as important as activity.
