Welcome to BSO De Grote Grutto, located right in the centre of the rural village of Ilpendam. Our modern building at Gruttostraat 7 shares its grounds with Van Randwijkschool, Sebastianus primary school, the local library and a toddler playgroup. This central position makes us the perfect after-school location for children in years 3–8 who need a place to relax, play and be challenged after their school day. Our out-of-school care facility has room for 55 children and is officially registered in the National Register under number 919958655. Parents from Ilpendam itself and from the nearby districts of de Gors and Weidevenne in Purmerend can reach us easily via the N247 towards Amsterdam. We are open from 07:30 to 18:30, offering both before- and after-school care. At De Grote Grutto we focus on creating a safe, familiar and low-threshold atmosphere. Our qualified staff give children the space they need to unwind after an intensive school day, meet friends and play in a homely setting. Close cooperation with the neighbouring primary schools ensures a smooth transition from classroom to after-school care, helping children feel at home quickly.
