IKC Wereldwijs (BSO)

Welcome to BSO Wereldwijs, part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) Wereldwijs located at Graan voor Visch 14402 in Hoofddorp. We provide before- and after-school care every school day for children aged 4 to 13. Our BSO is located in the same building as the primary school, allowing children to move safely and familiarly from their classroom to after-school care. We use the BSO Fun activity programme. This programme is built around themes, ensuring there is always something new to discover each week. Children decide for themselves whether to join an activity, play something else, or quietly read a book. When the weather is nice, there is plenty of space to play outside on the Wereldplein: a green schoolyard with natural climbing and clambering areas themed around different continents. In bad weather, we use the indoor playroom, so there is always something fun to do. During school holidays, we organise extra festive activities from the BSO Fun programme. We join forces with BSO Bornholm, allowing children to play together with new friends. This makes the holiday period even more enjoyable. Our BSO has room for up to 20 children. The group is mixed-age, so children of different ages play together and learn from each other. The location is in the Graan voor Visch district, close to the centre of Hoofddorp, and is easily accessible.
