Kindercentrum 't Molentje

Kindercentrum ’t Molentje, located at Eendrachtstraat 52 in Sint Philipsland, has provided small-scale after-school care for up to 12 children per session since 2013. We welcome children aged 4 to 12 who attend primary school and need a trusted place before and after school, on study days and during holidays. Our after-school group is situated on the first floor of the centre. The space is laid out as one large living-room area with a kitchen, a long table with stools and chairs, and separate play corners for imaginative play, construction play and quiet moments. Children can eat together, do crafts, play board games or simply relax. We offer versatile play materials suitable for all ages within the core group and regularly add group-focused activities such as cooking, creative workshops or sports and games outings. Outdoors we share a playground with a play hill, slide and crawl tunnel. When the weather is nice we also walk to the nearby playground, beach or football field. During holiday periods we organise extra trips and themed days. We work closely with the local primary schools De Luyster, Koningin Julianaschool and Het Kompas in Anna Jacobapolder. Our pedagogical staff pick the children up after school and bring them to class in the morning. For parents who work longer hours, extended care is available on request. Our small, permanent team ensures familiar faces and a homely atmosphere. We follow a clear pedagogical policy that leaves room for personal choices, cooperation and the development of social skills. Registration and reservations are handled easily through our parent portal in cooperation with Bitcare.
