Kindercentrum Schateiland

Welcome to the after-school care of Kindercentrum Schateiland, located at Dudoklaan 10 in the De Hooilanden district of Wageningen. We provide care for children aged 4 to 7 who attend primary school. Our location is spacious and includes an outdoor area tailored to the world of young schoolchildren. Every afternoon begins with a warm welcome and a shared moment to unwind from the school day. We then offer a varied programme of activities that reflect what children are interested in. We talk to the children to find out what they enjoy and adapt our offer accordingly. Activities include sports and games in the sports hall or on the football field, as well as creative and relaxing pursuits. Our pedagogical staff create a safe and familiar environment in which children can develop. We focus on promoting personal and social competences. Children are given space to be independent, to participate and to explore norms and values. All in a homely atmosphere where fun and development go hand in hand. Kindercentrum Schateiland is part of Kinderopvang Wageningen, an organisation that has been active in the city since 1965. We work with familiar faces in each group and offer a wide range of activities that match the world of children. Our location is easily accessible and has room for up to 108 children in after-school care.
