Kindercentrum Mallemolen

Welcome to Kindercentrum Mallemolen, our after-school care location at Beijumerweg 19b in the heart of Beijum. Since 2001, we have been providing after-school care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our team of 15 proud pedagogical staff works with great enthusiasm and commitment to create a safe and challenging environment where children feel completely at home after school. We believe that every child is unique and therefore offer a personal approach. With us, a child can be who they are. We work with fixed mentors who serve as the point of contact for both the child and you. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide children in developing self-reliance and learning new skills playfully according to the Uk & Puk method. We see ourselves as co-educators and attach great importance to consultation and contact with parents. Our location is housed in the characteristic Beijum farm "Boerderijum", which we share with other organizations. The spaces are bright and inviting, and we have a challenging natural playground where children can romp to their heart's content. We regularly organize fun activities such as reading days, parent days, and the infamous Mud Day where children are allowed to get deliciously dirty. Our after-school care is open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 52 weeks a year. We work with one horizontal group for all after-school care children, where we respond to the interests and curiosity of each child. Our open-door policy gives children the freedom to play where they want and with whom they want, allowing them to learn to deal with the diversity of our society.
