Kindercentrum 'Kids & Joy'

Welcome to Kindercentrum 'Kids & Joy' in Slagharen! Since 2008, we have been providing childcare with love and joy at our location on Vergouwlaan 6. Our childcare center is located in a cozy semi-detached house where children immediately feel at home. For our after-school care (BSO): after school hours, we lovingly and joyfully welcome the children. We want to offer our children a meaningful leisure program where simply relaxing and chilling is central. Children can play games, do crafts, play outside, play in our play corners, read books and much more. Just like at home, doing what children would like to do themselves after a long school day. Nothing is mandatory, everything is allowed. Our permanent caregivers ensure every day that they are there for our children. We strive for our children to be heard and seen after a school day and that they can experience a real holiday day on a holiday day, and of course have lots of fun with their friends! Creating a pleasant atmosphere in which everyone is valued and respected is paramount. In addition, we ensure that children are offered enough varied activities every day. Children have the freedom to choose what they want to do. Of course, we respond as much as possible to the children's initiatives and their world of experience and wishes. Our activity program has great variety. For example, we offer themed activities every week. Think of a music week in which we introduce children to different musical instruments, or a week in which we organize a cooking or baking workshop in our own kitchen. Or for example a week working on knitting and crocheting, but also making a real game board or a graffiti spraying lesson is possible. We also invite guest teachers for our themes or go on outings to bring the themes to life. In short, a fun and varied program that is Tof, BlitZz and Cool, where nothing is mandatory but children really want to participate!
