Welcome to BSO In Bloei, our small-scale after-school care located at Veldweg 1a in the forest-rich village of Darp. We are an outdoor BSO where a maximum of 10 children per group have the space to grow in connection with nature, creativity and each other. Our core values are nature, creativity and small-scale care. Children romp through the bushes, dig with their hands in the soil, maintain our vegetable garden, spot birds, search for tracks, build huts and learn to recognize trees. We have cool materials like Sticklets, slacklines, magnifying glasses, binoculars and pocket knives (always under supervision). Creativity is central to our approach. Our craft trolley can be moved by the children themselves to wherever they want to work, often outdoors. We follow the children's needs; being outside is an invitation, not a requirement. We also provide books and board games in our reading corner and have a construction and home corner set up in the hall. We value connection between young and old. Children can help each other or the supervisor from their own wishes and talents. We pick up children from OBS De Bosrank (Havelte), KC De Vuursteen (Wapserveen), CBS De Bron (Nijensleek), School B (Steenwijk) and Kindcentrum Immanuel (Steenwijkerwold). We offer three contract forms: BSO Inclusive (52 weeks), BSO Exclusive (40 school weeks without holidays) and Holiday BSO (12 weeks holidays only). Times are aligned with school schedules: short days 2:00/2:15-6:00 PM, long days 12:00/12:30-6:00 PM, holiday days 7:00 AM-6:00 PM.
