About this care
AI
Welcome to BSO Het Klokhuis, located at Piet Bakkerstraat 1 in the Noordwest district of Wageningen. We are part of Kinderopvang Wageningen BV and have provided reliable after-school care for up to 90 children aged 4 to 13 since 2014.
Our site consists of two welcoming buildings next to each other. Each group has its own fully equipped room tailored to the children’s age and interests. Kids can read, do crafts, play games or simply relax after a busy school day. Older children (7+) have a dedicated space with a PlayStation, dartboard and pool table.
Our sunny discovery garden is a true playground paradise. Children can ride bikes, play with a tractor, build dens in the playhouse or splash around in the sand & water table. In good weather we are outside a lot; when it rains the garden still offers sheltered play. We believe in keeping children connected to nature: we hunt for water creatures at the ditch, visit the farm or explore the neighbourhood.
We pick the children up on foot from OBS de Nijenoord and Johan Frisoschool, both just around the corner. Children aged 10 and up may also come independently by arrangement. During school holidays we organise regular outings, for example to the zoo or fun activities such as laser-tag.
Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every day to give the children a safe, challenging and above all enjoyable time. We work with fixed groups and familiar faces so every child quickly feels at home. Together with the children we make every day special.Read more
