Kindercentrum Domino, BSO Vossenhol

BSO Vossenhol is part of the Stichting Kindercentrum Domino foundation and is located inside the modern, bright building of primary school ’t Vossenhol at van Ruysdaelweg 8 in Groesbeek. Because the after-school care is situated within the school itself, children do not need to travel by taxi and can step straight from their classroom into a familiar, relaxed environment. We make a clear distinction between ‘school time’ and ‘free time’. The location operates two groups: the Djembés (up to 20 children) and the Saxofoons (up to 16 children). When fewer than 20 children are present, the groups are combined into one welcoming community. The play materials are selected for the broad age range of 4 to 12 years, ranging from a challenging construction corner and a cosy restaurant corner to a quiet reading area where children can enjoy books or games. The school playground borders a neighbourhood park with play equipment, providing ample space for outdoor activities and nature experiences every day. We also offer before-school care from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. The morning starts calmly with games or free play; at half past eight the older children walk to their classrooms independently, while younger children are escorted if needed. Kindercentrum Domino works closely with primary schools in and around Groesbeek. Our pedagogical staff are actively involved in the community and are committed to providing high-quality care that connects with each child’s world of experience.
