Kindercentrum 'De Oversteek'

Kindcentrum De Oversteek is located at Schoolstraat 79 in Kloosterhaar and is part of Welluswijs. For primary-school children we provide after-school care under the name ‘De Beer’. Our BSO is a leisure facility where children aged 4 to 13 can relax, play and take part in activities after school. We collect the children from De Cantecleer primary school at the end of the school day and accompany them to our premises. On arrival the children are offered a healthy bread meal, fruit and drinks. They can then choose what they want to do: join the active themed programme, relax in the seating area with a book or magazine, or watch a film together. “We value children’s own input, so when children come up with ideas our pedagogical staff take them up together with the children.” Our pedagogical staff provide a challenging, active and creative leisure programme that matches the age and interests of the children. There is a spacious outdoor playground where children can run, romp and play in the sand to their heart’s content. The BSO is organised in horizontal age groups so that activities are well suited to each child’s stage of development. Parents can choose from fixed 40-week contracts that follow the school weeks in the North region. Care runs from the end of the school day until 6 p.m. at the latest, with the exact end time adjustable per quarter-hour. In addition, holiday BSO can be booked during school holidays.
