BSO Babbels

Welcome to BSO Babbels, located at Lutulistraat 146 in Hoofddorp. Since July 1, 2024, we are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Haarlemmermeer (SKH). Our after-school care accommodates up to 22 children aged 4 to 13. We follow an anthroposophical vision, placing great value on the development of imagination and fantasy play. Our environment and play offerings are fully tailored to this approach. After school, our pedagogical staff pick up children from various nearby primary schools. We work closely with these schools to ensure a smooth transition. Our BSO is located on the top floor of the building, where we have our own space with areas for crafts, reading, and quiet play. We read aloud daily, celebrate seasonal festivals together, and actively involve children in their preparation. Language and communication are central to our approach. We help children express their feelings and teach them to communicate effectively with others. Child participation is very important to us: children contribute ideas for the afternoon program and can share their own ideas and talents. This way, they learn from each other and discover that everyone has unique qualities. Outdoor play is possible every day. Just a two-minute walk away is a playground with a large football field where children can enjoy themselves. We regularly organize fun outings and activities such as crafts, cooking, and sports games. We also provide care during school holidays and study days. Our vertical group composition ensures that children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and creates a warm, homely atmosphere. At BSO Babbels, your child feels at home and has the space to develop at their own pace.
