Kindcentrum Rehoboth

Kindcentrum Rehoboth is located at Wilhelminalaan 4A in Valthermond and is part of Stichting CKC Drenthe Kinderopvang. This location provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12. The facility is housed in a spacious child centre with an indoor play area of 73 m² and an adjacent outdoor area that can accommodate 20 children. Both spaces are safe, accessible and appropriately designed for the target group. Our pedagogical approach is outlined in a clear and annually reviewed policy plan. Each child is assigned a dedicated mentor who serves as the primary contact for parents and children regarding development and well-being. The base groups are horizontally structured, meaning children remain in one consistent group with a maximum size in line with legal standards. Care begins immediately after school and takes place both inside and outside the school building. During school holidays and study days, care continues to be available for parents who have a corresponding contract. The location works closely with CKC Rehoboth primary school, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care within a familiar environment. As a Christian child centre, we provide care rooted in positive Christian values. We welcome all families and aim to give children the space to grow into responsible and social individuals. Our staff are professionally trained and committed to creating a warm, safe environment where children feel at home.
