Kindcentrum Regenboog

Kindcentrum Regenboog is located at Krikkenstraat 6 in the heart of Dedemsvaart and is part of the Foundation for Christian Primary Education CHRONO. We provide a seamless continuum of education and childcare under one roof, allowing children aged 4 to 12 to move effortlessly from school to our after-school care (BSO). Our before-school care (VSO) starts at 07:30. Pedagogical staff collect your child from the classroom and guide them to the BSO area. After arrival, children prepare their own fruit and lemonade; we sit down together to talk about their day at school and discuss the activities planned for that afternoon. Afterwards, there is plenty of room to play indoors or outdoors, do crafts, cook or work on the computer. Activities are aligned as much as possible with the themes covered at school, so learning and relaxation reinforce each other. We work with a pedagogical circle that connects to ‘The Leader in Me’. This approach focuses on each child’s unique talents and teaches them to respect themselves and others. Our professionals meet weekly with the teachers to discuss your child’s development, ensuring that childcare and education form one coherent whole. Twice a year we organise a joint parent evening where you, as a parent, can speak with both the teacher and the childcare professional. During school holidays we offer holiday care at our own familiar location. Children choose what they want to do: from sports and games to creative workshops and cooking activities. In this way, De Regenboog remains a safe and challenging place where your child feels at home, even during free time.
