Ska Kindcentrum Rataplan

Kindcentrum Rataplan is the after-school care center for children with endless energy. We are located at Robert Kochstraat 6 in Amersfoort, at a unique location with a large grass field directly next to our building and the forest within walking distance. This environment gives us all the space to organize sports and play activities every day. At Ska Kindcentrum Rataplan, we believe that children learn best through play and movement. Our pedagogical staff create a safe and challenging environment where children aged 4 to 13 can fully develop themselves. We make optimal use of our immediate surroundings: on the grass field we play football, do athletics and organize sports tournaments. In the forest we build huts, take nature walks and learn about the environment. Our BSO accommodates a maximum of 22 children, allowing us to work on a small scale and give each child the personal attention they deserve. We work with permanent supervisors who know the children well and understand what they need after a school day. The atmosphere is homely and familiar, with room for both active and quiet activities. We organize varied activities daily that connect with the children's world of experience. Think of outdoor sports and games, creative craft projects with materials from nature, and joint games where cooperation is central. In bad weather, we have sufficient indoor space to move and play. Kindcentrum Rataplan is part of Stichting Ska Kinderopvang, an organization that has been active in the Amersfoort region and surrounding areas for over 30 years. We stand for healthy growth and believe that every child is unique. Our motto is 'Eigen wijze kids': we give children the space to develop in their own way, with curiosity and fun at the center.
