Kindcentrum Platijn

Kindcentrum Platijn is located at Maatstok 1 in the Dijkstraten district of Best. We are an integral child centre where education and childcare are combined under one roof. Our after-school care (BSO) is designed for children aged 4 to 12 and aligns seamlessly with primary school hours. We work closely with primary school Platijn, making the transition from school to after-school care familiar and effortless for children. Being outdoors is central to our approach. Every day we use our own natural playground and the adjacent neighbourhood nature playground. Children climb, build, explore and collaborate on adventurous projects. We spark their curiosity and offer challenging activities that connect with their world. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with care and encourage them to make their own choices and work together. Our approach is development-oriented. We see every child as unique and tailor our support to their needs. We provide structure and security, but also space to experiment and learn from mistakes. Older children regularly help younger ones; in this way they learn from each other and grow in confidence and responsibility. In short, every afternoon at Kindcentrum Platijn is a new adventure. We provide a safe, warm place where children can be themselves and where they discover, with joy and wonder, all that they can do.
