Kindcentrum Pittelo

Kindcentrum Pittelo is located in the multifunctional centre MFA Pittelo in the Pittelo district of Assen. We provide after-school care (BSO) for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12. Practically, our BSO is an ‘in-school’ service: children come from the neighbouring primary schools and simply walk through to our rooms in the same building after classes. This keeps the transition small and the place familiar and safe. Our team of pedagogical staff welcomes the children every weekday with a healthy snack and a varied activity programme. We work from CKC Drenthe’s vision: every child is given space to discover and develop their talents. Play, relaxation and challenge alternate. There are plenty of opportunities to do crafts, build, play in the large gym or enjoy outdoor activities on the schoolyard and in the green surroundings of the neighbourhood. For parents, this means that their child ends up in a familiar place after school, close to home, with short lines and personal contact. We align our care with the school hours of Kindcentrum De Lichtbaak and Kindcentrum De Driemaster, so there is always a seamless connection. Holidays and study days are included in our planning; during holiday BSO we offer extra challenging activities and outings. In short, Kindcentrum Pittelo is a safe, homely place where children can be themselves after school, play together, discover and grow up in a pleasant, familiar environment.
