Kindcentrum Oranje Nassau

Welcome to BSO Kindcentrum Oranje-Nassau, located at Eijkmanplantsoen 3 in the centre of Nijkerk. Our centre is part of Stichting PCO Gelderse Vallei and has provided small-scale, professional after-school care for up to 30 children aged 4–13 since 2015. We follow the DoenKids programme: an inspiring activity library packed with sports, games and creative challenges that match what children themselves enjoy. Our qualified pedagogical staff guide the children in vertical groups, so toddlers, infants and older children learn together; the youngest gain confidence while the oldest develop a sense of responsibility. Our rooms are housed in the same building as Oranje-Nassau primary school, ensuring a smooth and safe transition from school to after-school care. Children can head straight to our bright, homely group spaces with free-play corners for construction, crafts and relaxation. We also have a large green outdoor playground where we spend as much time as possible playing and moving around. During teacher training days and school holidays we are open from 07:30 to 18:30. We organise extra outings on those days—think forest play areas, sports clinics or creative workshops—so holidays are filled with fun and development. Parents experience our care as committed and transparent: short lines of communication, personal attention and one consistent pedagogical approach with the school. Together we ensure every child feels seen, valued and happy to come to BSO.
