Kindcentrum Menso Altingschool

Welcome to CKC Menso Altingschool, a vibrant integrated child centre located at Brinkhovenlaan 3b in Paterswolde. We provide both education and after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12 at a single location. Our BSO is open from 07:15 to 18:00 and uses spacious classrooms in both the new and existing parts of the school building. Our pedagogical climate is designed to ensure every child feels safe and valued. We follow a clear pedagogical policy plan established by CKC Drenthe. Within the BSO we run horizontal groups, bringing children together in age-based groups. At least one qualified childcare worker trained in paediatric first aid is always present. Parents stay informed through the Social Schools app. Here they report absences, receive news and photos, and can indicate whether they consent to the use of images. We work closely with parents through the parent council, coffee mornings and parent participation in activities. Together we create a safe, enriching and enjoyable environment in which children can develop to their full potential.
