Kindcentrum Het Kompas

Kindcentrum Het Kompas is located at Godfried van Rhenenlaan 1 in the centre of Vollenhove. Under one roof we offer Christian primary education and complete childcare, giving children aged 4–13 one familiar place for both learning and playing. Our after-school care (BSO) is open every school day from 14:15 to 18:30; during school holidays and study days we are available the whole day. We believe every child has unique talents. That is why we let children help decide the activity programme. One day they may choose sports and games, another day creative workshops or nature and technology activities. We work with themes that connect to the children’s world of experience and also provide plenty of room for free play: reading in the book corner, building with Lego, football on the playground or just chatting in the lounge area. Our pedagogical staff know every child. They guide, stimulate and ensure a safe, positive atmosphere. We have a Christian identity: respect, connectedness and stewardship are central. During holidays we organise a festive holiday programme with special outings and adventurous activities, all tailored to the children so that they come to BSO with pleasure and go home with a smile.
