Kindcentrum Het Anker

Kindcentrum Het Anker is located at Vellengastraat 18 in the centre of Zwartebroek and is part of the Protestant Christian Organisation for Childcare and Education (PCOGV). Under one roof we provide both primary education and out-of-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13. Our BSO is open 40 weeks a year, Monday to Friday. After school our pedagogical staff collect the children and bring them to the BSO area, where they are cared for until 18:30. Parents who start earlier can use before-school care from 07:30; for a small surcharge this is possible from 07:00 including breakfast. Our approach is small-scale and personal: we want every child to feel safe, secure and accepted. We teach children to play together, take each other into account and resolve conflicts. The pedagogical staff observe, guide, stimulate and direct where necessary, so friendships can grow and talents can flourish. During school holidays we organise holiday care at IKC de Ark with varied activities and excursions. Parents can take flexible childcare: regular contracts, occasional extra sessions (BSO-plus) or swapping sessions within 10 working days.
