Kindcentrum De Vogeltuin (BSO)

Kindcentrum De Vogeltuin BSO is located at Houtduifstraat 24 in Veendam and is part of De Vogeltuin B.V., a small-scale childcare organization with multiple locations in the region. Our after-school care location accommodates up to 14 children aged 4 to 12. We work closely with primary school De Ommewending, where we are based, and with other schools in Veendam. We provide drop-off and pick-up services before and after school. Our team consists of a small group of dedicated, qualified childcare professionals, each bringing their own expertise. The director is on-site almost daily and knows every child and parent personally. We value personal contact: parents are always welcome to drop by for a chat or to hear how their child’s day went. Together with parents, we look at what works best for each child, as we believe flexibility and consultation are key. The after-school care has its own entrance and separate play and outdoor areas. We provide care on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday after school. We are also open during school holidays and study days. Our approach is playful and child-centered: we see every child as a unique little bird with its own song, and we give them space to explore, play, and unwind after a day at school.
