Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Kindcentrum De Vlindertuin, located at Rochetstraat 4 in Voorthuizen. Our BSO occupies a pleasant space inside the building and provides care for children aged 4 to 13. We offer a familiar environment where children can relax, play and discover after school. Our programme is rooted in the Christian worldview of the Protestant Christian Organisation for Childcare & Education. We set clear, high expectations for children and provide a safe, structured environment that promotes learning and growth. The focus is on relaxation and leisure: there is room for rest, movement, creative activities and fun. Every child is unique, so we carefully consider individual needs. Children can craft in small groups, play games or enjoy football on the playground. In bad weather we use the gym. We regularly organise outings, for example to local playgrounds or nature areas. Holiday care is available during all school vacations. The integrated approach of education and childcare creates a natural, continuous developmental line. The same pedagogical staff and teachers form one team, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Children remain in the familiar climate with the same values and norms and have access to all facilities in and around the school building.
