De Terp (hoofdgebouw)

Welcome to BSO De Terp – Main Building, located at Terpeborch 78 in the heart of Rosmalen. We are part of Kindcentrum De Terp, a partnership between Kanteel childcare and primary schools De Borch/De Overlaet. Our main building provides after-school care for up to 70 children aged 4 to 13. Our motto is ‘nothing is compulsory, (almost) anything is allowed’. Every day children decide for themselves what they want to do. One day they spin tracks at our DJ booth, the next they pull on their wellies to explore our unique nature garden. We offer a wide range of activities: sports and games, cooking and baking, creative crafts and technology corners, as well as nature discovery. Our pedagogical staff guide play, ask open questions and encourage children to come up with their own solutions, supporting social, emotional, motor, language and cognitive development. Fixed daily rhythms provide structure. In the morning we start calmly with a game or activity until school starts. After school we share fruit, vegetables and a cracker with water, then begin the planned workshop or activity. During holidays and study days we are open from 07:30 to 18:30 and collaborate with our annexe at Nieuwendijk 38, creating one joint programme with extra outings and themed days. Every child has a dedicated mentor who tracks development, conducts parent meetings and is the main contact for parents. We use natural and sustainable materials, a rich play-and-learn environment and plenty of outdoor space. Our location sits in the middle of green surroundings, allowing daily use of the play and sports fields around the child centre. In short, at BSO De Terp – Main Building children can discover who they are and where their talents lie, every day anew, at their own pace and in their own way.
