Kindcentrum de Springplank Fijnaart

Kindcentrum de Springplank Fijnaart is an after-school care (BSO) located at Lijsterstraat 2 in Fijnaart. We are part of Stichting Kibeo and work closely with Openbare Basisschool De Springplank, together forming an integrated child centre. Our BSO provides care for up to 32 children aged 4 to 12. We are open every weekday before and after school hours. Morning care starts at 7:00 a.m., giving parents a calm moment to drop off their children before lessons begin. After school we take over seamlessly: children are collected from their classrooms and can stay with us until 6:30 p.m. We are also open during teacher-training days and school holidays, so there is always a familiar place where children can play, relax and discover new things. Our permanent team of enthusiastic pedagogical staff use the DoenKids programme: a fun and varied range of activities that is built around a new theme each week. We offer challenging, educational and above all cool activities that match each child’s interests and talents—think arts & crafts, sports and games, drama, technology, nature and discovery projects, and creative workshops. In this way children uncover new hobbies and further develop their talents. We believe it is important that children feel safe and at home. That is why we work in small, manageable groups with consistent staff. Our rooms are cosily furnished, offering quiet corners to chill out and plenty of space to move around. Outdoors we have a playground that we enjoy whenever the weather is nice. Parents can register easily by e-mailing springplank@kibeo.nl. We are happy to think along about the care days that best suit the family and we align our activities with the school timetable of De Springplank. Together we ensure that children come to the BSO with pleasure and go home with a smile.
