Kind Centrum Markelo

Kind Centrum Markelo is the after-school care (BSO) location of Stichting Kinderopvang Ludiek, situated in the brand-new Integral Child Centre at Koekoekslaan 2c in Markelo. Since 30 November 2020 we welcome up to 24 school-age children each day in a sustainable, climate-neutral building that we share with primary schools De Zwaluw and De Welp, the child health clinic and youth healthcare services. This unique collaboration creates short lines of communication and a warm, familiar place where your child aged 4 and older can enjoy care after school. At Kind Centrum Markelo your child decides what to do after school. First a chat with a biscuit and a drink, then choose: dress up as a pirate or princess, build an airplane from LEGO, build a hut together in the garden or quietly read a book. Our pedagogical staff use their own talents every afternoon to offer activities in sports & games, nature, music, technology, culture and creativity. Children can join voluntarily; after all, it is their free time. We work with a fixed daily structure – arrival, circle time, crafts, outdoor play – but the content varies. We regularly visit the local garden centre or market to let children discover and experience new things. The Child Centre is designed with plenty of daylight, spacious group rooms and a direct connection between inside and outside. Children can walk independently from school to the BSO and find everything under one roof. Flexibility is paramount: if you work irregular shifts, we are happy to think along with schedules.
