Welcome to Kind aan Zee, a small-scale after-school care facility in the heart of Scheveningen. Our charming location at Neptunusstraat 76 is just a stone's throw from Muzee Scheveningen and primary school Het Volle Leven. We provide a warm, homely environment where children aged 4 to 12 feel right at home. Our focus centers on experiencing music, creativity, and nature. We believe in the power of small-scale care: with a maximum of 20 children per day, we can provide truly personal attention. Our pedagogical staff create a calm, cozy atmosphere where children develop through play and discovery. The location is uniquely situated: with our spacious cargo bikes, we can be found daily in the forest, dunes, playgrounds, and of course on the wonderful beach of Scheveningen. This direct connection with nature makes our after-school care special. Children learn about their environment through play while enjoying outdoor adventures. We work closely with primary school Het Volle Leven, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our activities focus on relaxation and challenge after a school day: from making music and creative craft projects to discovery trips in nature. Healthy snacks are part of our daily care.
