Kikkersloot

BSO Kikkersloot is located inside the Van Asch van Wijckschool at Louis Couperusstraat 85 in Utrecht. We provide after-school care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 7 years (grades 1 to 3). Our BSO has its own group room and an adjoining central hall where children can eat, cook, do crafts and play with the doll house. The group room is furnished like a home and offers challenging play corners: a construction corner, reading corner, home corner and a cupboard full of games. In the play hall children can move around, romp and create theatre performances. Outdoors we offer a versatile playground where children can run, pump water, splash in puddles, cycle, scooter or climb. The yard is partly shaded by trees and there is plenty of play material that can be taken outside. For extra space we use Majellapark across the street. We work from our Pedagogical Heart: children feel good, have fun and discover in a rich environment with natural materials. Together we learn from and with each other.
