KIK Sport BSO DIA

KIK Sport BSO DIA is our sports-oriented after-school care located at Donkerstraat 34 in Teteringen. We are situated at sports park de Gouwen and provide care for 60 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is specially designed for children who love movement and sports. After school, children run straight to our BSO. They quickly put on their jackets and head outside to the sports fields of sports park de Gouwen. This is a beautiful place where children can play, do sports and discover together. We believe it's important that children develop a sense of responsibility by taking initiative, making rules together and creating mutual agreements. The children are co-responsible for their challenges and the activities offered. Our sports program is incredibly varied. Children get acquainted with different sports such as baseball, tug-of-war and rugby. They can express themselves through rolling, falling, running, jumping, throwing, catching and kicking a ball. These skills not only develop their self-confidence but also their agility, coordination, balance and speed. We make optimal use of our surroundings. Besides the sports park, we also use the cadet camp and in winter, a sports hall. We also rent cross bikes to perform stunts in the forest. For children from 5 years old, we offer swimming lessons at Sonsbeeck swimming pool, where they can earn their swimming diplomas under the guidance of a professional swimming instructor. We pick up children from primary schools Helder Camara, De Wegwijzer, De Springplank and Nuts primary school. We offer various care packages: after-school care (40 weeks), after-school care including holiday care (52 weeks), holiday care and flexible care for parents with varying work schedules. Upon request, we can also provide a warm meal. At KIK Sport BSO DIA, children find other children to play outside with. We believe that lots of movement at a young age has a positive effect on future health. In a playful way, we get children excited about movement, making it accessible for every child.
