Kidswereld Nigtevecht

Kidswereld Nigtevecht is located in a beautiful rural village along the Vecht river. Since October 2015, we have been sharing a building with primary schools De Tweemaster and De Flambouw, making the transition from school to after-school care seamless and familiar for children. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location has 44 places and we work with small groups where children of different ages are together. This allows them to learn from each other and set positive examples. At Kidswereld, everything revolves around the child. We don't follow a rigid program, but respond to what is happening at that moment. Nature is an important part of our day. We go outside every day, preferably twice. What we discover outside is incorporated into our themes and indoor activities, making learning a natural part of play. Our pedagogical staff are well-trained and experienced. They create a safe and warm environment where children can be themselves and grow. We work with themes that connect to children's experiences, such as our recent theme "Oof, it's hot!" where we read summer stories and imagined warm days. We believe it's important that children can get the best out of themselves. That's why we provide space for their own ideas and initiatives. Through play, children discover the world around them, both inside our homely spaces and outside in the natural play environment.
