Kidswereld Herengracht

Welcome to BSO Kidswereld Herengracht, located in a charming building at the historic Herengracht 17 in the heart of Weesp. Our beautiful location, a former rectory, offers a warm and homely environment where children immediately feel at home. With our spacious, green outdoor playground and characteristic indoor spaces, we create the ideal place for relaxation, play and development after school. At Kidswereld, we believe that children thrive best in a familiar environment. Our BSO provides care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 years. We work with small, vertical groups where children of different ages come together. This way, they learn from each other, set good examples for one another, and develop social skills naturally. Our pedagogical approach is aimed at stimulating children in their development. We don't offer a standard program, but create space for what is happening with the children at that moment. We work with themes that connect to children's experiences and bring discoveries from outside back inside. Nature is an important part of our daily activities. We go outside every day, preferably even twice, to discover, play and learn. Our experienced pedagogical staff are ready to guide children in their development. We offer support with homework, organize fun activities and regularly go on excursions to the market, the library or take walks through the beautiful surroundings of Weesp. We believe it is important that children feel safe, can be themselves and discover the world with pleasure and wonder. BSO Kidswereld Herengracht is part of Kinderopvang Kidswereld, an organization that has been providing professional childcare since 1988. From a small initiative, we have grown into an organization with six locations, each maintaining its own character. Our goal remains unchanged: to provide professional childcare with the child at the center.
