Kidswereld Baambrugge

Kidswereld Baambrugge is located in community centre De 5 Bogen, right in the historic centre of Baambrugge. This central spot makes daily cooperation with the Ichthus primary school and the local community house effortless. Inside, we have access to a gymnasium; outside, a large schoolyard invites children to run, play football or build huts. Younger children enjoy a dedicated nature garden with sand and water for safe exploration. Our after-school care welcomes children aged 4 to 12. We collect them from school and provide care until 18:30. During study days and all school holidays (except the period between Christmas and New Year) we are open from 07:30 to 18:30 and offer a full-day programme. Activities range from crafts and woodworking to free play and outdoor adventures. Together with a professional carpenter and our pedagogical staff, children build bird houses and sturdy huts. We also run an additional programme: after-school activities (NSA). This consists of weekly recurring workshops such as dance, hut building or sculpture, organised in blocks between school holidays. Children enrolled in our regular BSO can join free of charge on their fixed days; friends who do not normally attend can participate for a small fee. A booklet published twice a year lists all upcoming activities. Early-morning care is available from 07:30. We take the children to school at 08:30, allowing parents to start their working day in peace. Because everything in the neighbourhood is within walking distance, we can also escort children to and from sports clubs, keeping the day flexible and relaxed.
