Kidspalace BSO

Kidspalace BSO at Vlasakker 2 in ’s-Gravendeel is our second after-school care location, offering places for up to 15 children aged 4 to 12. Opened on 1 September 2014 to meet growing demand, the location was created through the takeover of the former Stichting Hoeksche Waard Oost. At Kidspalace we want every child to feel ‘at home’. Our qualified pedagogical staff provide a warm, safe environment where each child can explore the world in his or her own way and at his or her own pace. All team members hold a Certificate of Good Conduct before employment begins. Our programme focuses on sport and play, encouraging outdoor activities. Children regularly build rope survival courses or take part in energetic games that emphasise cooperation and fun. The site is organised into three horizontal age groups: an intake group for 4-5-year-olds, a kindergarten group for 5-7-year-olds and an older group for 7-12-year-olds. The intake group offers a calm, educational start to after-school care; once children turn five they move on to the other groups at Vlasakker 1. Opening hours are 7:00–18:15 on school days and 7:00–18:00 during holidays. Kidspalace BSO Vlasakker 2 is open year-round, except for official public holidays, one annual training day and the week between Christmas and New Year.
