KIDSclub de Baanbreker

Welcome to KIDSclub de Baanbreker, our cheerful after-school care located in the auditorium of primary school De Baanbreker at Lijnbaan 319 in Zoetermeer. We are here especially for older children who can walk from school to the club on their own and who are looking for space, challenge and fun. In our spacious auditorium children can really let off steam. There is a stage where they can act in plays or enjoy dancing. We cook and bake together regularly; from cookies to complete meals, anything goes and nothing is too crazy. Creative corners are everywhere: making jewellery, painting, building scale models or embroidery – children choose what they like and we facilitate. Outside there is plenty of room to play on De Baanbreker’s schoolyard. We notice that children in this age group often need just a bit more freedom. Therefore – always in consultation with parents – we take small groups to a nearby playing field or pop round the corner to the local shopping centre. Step by step they learn to act independently and responsibly within their environment. We cooperate with primary schools De Baanbreker, De Buut and Noordeinde. This way children from different schools meet each other, which is a great preparation for secondary school. During school holidays we join the joint holiday programme of all KIDSclubs in Zoetermeer. The children themselves decide what they want to do; from outings to game projects, everything is shaped together with them. In short, at KIDSclub de Baanbreker children are given the space to be themselves, discover new things and have fun together in a safe and familiar environment.
