Kids Xpress after-school care is located at Stationsstraat 36 in the centre of Vleuten. Our motto is short but powerful: “I can do anything!” With this we want every child to discover what is inside them. We provide after-school care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 12. The location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 28 April 2015 and operates under the KunstNest umbrella. We specialise in both sporty and creative courses. Think visual arts, crafts, music and movement. Activities are always tailored to the interests of the children present at that moment. Our pedagogical staff keep a personal profile for each child so that we can offer tailor-made activities. We believe that every child is unique and it is precisely that uniqueness that we want to stimulate and develop. Safety and fun are our top priorities. We work with familiar faces on the group and have clear house rules. Bullying or discrimination is not tolerated. In case of emergencies there are always enough adults present; the premises share facilities with day-care centre De Hummeltjestrein, providing extra back-up. Our BSO is open all year round, except for public holidays, the days between Christmas and New Year, the day after Ascension Day and one staff training day. We work closely with primary schools in the immediate area and pick up the children after school. Parents can contact us for flexible childcare: the minimum number of sessions is one, and extra care is always negotiable as long as the staff-child ratio allows.
