Kids Lodge Sport BSO Hockey Club Houten is a unique after-school care facility located at the Hockey Club Houten grounds on Groene Hoon 1 in Houten. This Sports BSO is specially designed for children aged 7 and older, offering a dynamic environment where movement and sports take center stage. Set on the expansive sports fields of the hockey club, children can enjoy fresh air and plenty of space to move every day. Our Sports BSO is accessible to all children, regardless of their sporting background. Whether you're a true sports enthusiast or not yet a member of a sports club but still want to stay active: every child is welcome. We believe that movement is essential for healthy development. Children learn new technical skills through play, cooperation, pushing boundaries, dealing with rules and sportsmanship. This contributes to their resilience, self-confidence and perseverance. Through collaboration with external professionals and Sportpunt Houten, we offer a varied program. Think cricket under the guidance of the youth cricket assistant national coach, football clinics with goalkeepers from ADO Den Haag, golf clinics at Houten golf course, athletics, bubble football, baseball and clinics from professional footballers. Each period ends with tournaments or matches where children can showcase their new skills. The location is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Upon registration, each child receives their own Kids Lodge sports bag with training clothes and water bottle. We work from a pedagogical climate where fun, discovery and development are central. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with passion and expertise, so that every child feels safe and valued.
