Welcome to Kids2b Het Schathuis in Uithuizermeeden! Our after-school care is located in the characteristic building at Hoofdstraat 1 – the former domestic science school – and offers space for up to 29 school-age children from 4 to 12 years old. We are part of Stichting Kids2b, the childcare organization that has served North Groningen for more than 25 years. After a busy school day it is truly the child’s own time at our BSO. Our pedagogical staff give space and possibilities so every child can do what he or she feels like. Fancy running around in our large green garden, going on a discovery tour or helping in the vegetable garden? Everything is possible. Together with a cook we turn home-grown vegetables into something tasty in our spacious kitchen. Children who prefer to relax can curl up with a book in one of our cosy corners. We believe in a safe yet challenging environment. That is why we go outside every day – rain does not stop us – and pay extra attention to exercise and language development. Our pedagogical coaches support the team to give your child the best guidance. Parents choose us for our healthy food, our proximity and the warm, homely atmosphere.
